As I stated on another thread I avoid wakes, hospitals and visiting friends in their “new” old house ( this was mainly in New York because most places were very old and had years of history). Hate crowds!!!
I did have fun visiting Palaces in Europe, I found out things the tour guides never told LOL

LESLIE!!!

You described me to a 'T'. I'm not a recluse but I avoid social or public situations like the plague. I love Jeff Dunham. I have friends and generally the people in public figure out I'm positive, migrate to me and then suck the life out of me...I swear. It wasn't until I did research that I realized I wasn't exactly crazy. I immediately went off all psychiatric drugs because it was not a mental issue it was a misunderstood issue.

I am so much better now that I know how to stay away from grocery stores and malls on the weekends. Avoid errands around lunch time on the week days.

When people don't know what they are tapping into it's easy to be 'diagnosed' because of what they don't understand. At one point my therapist labeled me bipolar and then the meetings consisted of her asking me her future LOL and about her past life...OMGoodness it was a riot going...but she was draining me so I stopped going

Okay I veered off topic...It's so nice to be here.

Thank you!

Eclecticdealer- oddly I want to be a Mortician ??? I really do. I feel like I communicate better with people who have passed. And I walk into a house know it's haunted and walk right back out...LOL

TressesOfNephthys- Bars, clubs...no good NO BUENO NO...lol you must have felt inundated almost drowned in that situation with the vibes running through you...Sorry about that experience!

I'm suppose to go to a funeral today, but I'm not. I don't feel like bringing home an extra guess. I also don't feel like being drained and then being in a funk for days.

Cerberus

What at a funeral drains you?

Is it the people attending or the person who passed do you think?

Ugh no funerals or wakes for me either I've been to precisely one funeral and one wake. The funeral was in high school for a kid who died in a car crash. He was attached to me for just about 3 years after that. The wake was a few years ago for my uncle and not only did he follow me all the way from my house to the wake (1h 20 min drive) making my CD player skip the entire time, he stuck around afterward for the next day after until I crossed him over. Until then, I felt like I was wearing one of those lead vests they make you wear at the dentist when you are getting your x-rays done.
