Hi there. I've been lurking for a while, but finally got the nerve to ask a question. My name is Missy and I currently live in a small town in PA. Most of my personal experiences are in Colorado, but the Junior High in our town holds a tour for the 6th graders every year where they tell them that the school is haunted. It's said to be built on top of a cemetery or burial ground (depending who you talk to) And I am currently almost caddy corner to the school. We see shadows and hear footsteps going up the stairs, and once or twice the voice of a young girl.

We aren't scared but I don't go looking for the paranormal, it just kinda finds me. I fully respect it and have raised my boys not to fool with what they don't understand (and of course being 15 and 10, they both have their own stories of different happenings.) My oldest wants to become an investigator here in town, and if he could get access, might come back with quite a portfolio. My favorite saying is that in this town, I would be surprised to hear about a house that is NOT haunted.

I'm not one who immediately jumps to everything being paranormal, I try to find a reasonable explanation, but there are many things that can not be explained any other way. I look forward to reading more and sharing more.

Hello everyone! I'm a 37 year old single mom who loves life. I enjoy the outdoors, indoors, and all that's in between. I'm mostly outgoing but I have my moments, as do we all. Where most people ask why, I ask why not. Where most people believe the sky's the limit, I ask why is there a limit. I've had a good life so far and plan on enjoying the rest of it, however long that may be. Tomorrow is a promise to no one and I refuse to believe that my best years are behind me. So work hard, play hard, live hard, and love hard. The rest is just details.

I've had my own experiences, but around here you just don't talk about things like that...you know how it is. That is why I registered with this site...so I can talk about some of my experiences without being told I'm crazy. I don't automatically assume that everything is paranormal; however, I'm not afraid to consider the fact that there are times that the most logical explanation is that something is paranormal.
