On July 4, her little cousin, Kenzie was involved in an auto accident with her father and his girlfriend. Kenzie's father and girlfriend died instantly.
Kenzie was airlifted to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, TN. She has several fractures in her skull, a puncture in her right lung, swellin on the brain, both legs broken on the front thieghs and bruises/abrasions and a cut above her eye. They have her in a medically induced coma to help her and to give her brain time to heal hopefully from swelling. They won't know if she will be out of the woods for another 2 to 4 days. Kenzie is 11 years old.
Kenzie's mother, Amber, right now is at the hospital keeping vigil. She is unconsolable as she was when the accident first happened but she is still needing support and prayers also while she watches her daughter fight for her life in ICU.
