Indeed, the four giants represent Ramses II, but each one carved with symbols and different meanings, would be represented with the nemes, the double crown of the Two Lands, the beard, symbol of the pharaoh in life, the necklace and a pectoral etching with the throne name. After each of the sides of the four sculptures can also be observed at different relatives of the pharaoh.
Colossus I (left) contains the representation of Queen Nefertari in the left leg of Pharaoh, Tuya, Ramses II's mother on the right and Prince Amonhorjepeshef in the center.
The Colossus II (left side) are the princesses Bentata, Nebettauy and possibly represents another Senefra.
In the colossus I the north side (right) is Queen Nefertari in the right leg, the left Beketmut Princess and Prince Riamsese in the center.
The colossus of the north side II Nerytamun Princess, the Queen Mother Tuya and Nefertari.
