It's not where they died or even where they lived. It's much simpler than that. They simply stay near what they loved. That's what keeps them here.

Well, I gotta say although this could possible by lens flare from the flash. (not sure why the flash fired, seems to be plenty of light) It doesn't really have the normal characteristics of lens flare. Looks very interesting. I actually think I've been to this cemetery before, long ago. Great picture.

It is a great pic. But i am wondering if this may not be a street light type thing hung in the tree. We have them here in ohio and they will mount them in trees to light up tombstones around it. The size of the spot is actually similar to the size of the lights.Good catch though.

Possible, we don't have those here in Florida. Although the entire object seems closer than the trees. If it was a light in the trees you would think you would see some shimmer of the light on the branches of the tree, which you do not.

No lights whatsoever - behind the cemetery, in the trees or otherwise. We went back and looked at the cemetery to look for just that. Also, no flash was used on this photo. Took along a friend who is a professional photographer that I had view the photo before going to the cemetery for their point of view as well. We could not find any source of light. We even went back at the same time of day.
