Discuss photo: Photo 1334

Did you SEE the orb? Because to me it looks like a particle orb caused by the flash.

I agree with CC here. Looks like a dust/moisture/pollen particle caught in the flash.

looks like a spooky place. What was the reason to take this picture at this spot?

I took the photo myself. My husband saw a faint light off in the distance and told me to snap a photo in the direction of the orb you see here. At the time of the photo it was closer than where he saw the original light. I took several photos ofter this one and they are all clear of any orb like structures. I took over 100 photos that night and I had no dust particles visible and only one that was debunked as a bug. I am a very experienced photographer (10+ years) and can guarantee that this is no lens defect and there was no visible dust particles in the air that night.

Doesn't have to be visible dust. It's just too close to pics that I know are dust for me to say it's anything different.

It is in front of the trees and perfectly round, it may not be lens flare, even though a flash was used, but I would agree that it is a particle "orb". Especially since the light is evenly distributed a crossed the circumference of be less so equally distributed.the orb,unlike moisture "orbs"
