Not really sure what to make of it. To me it looks like the front of a flashlight reflecting off a mirrored table of sorts. The camera most likely was capturing the reflections and eluminations from the light source causing it to interpulate the exposure.

Just my thoughts... Cool effect though!

it looks like it is upside down. If so, what is that in the corner? Is that a cup on a kitchen worktop or something similar..
The effect reminds me of a broken mirror. You can see radiating shatter lines that spread out and also seems to radiate from a single impact point just out of camera shot.

This might acutally be a cropped section of a bigger photo.
