Yeah. I am not sure if my finger can cause that or not ( with the haze) I mean it wasnt humid in there, not dusty ( cement floor) I am sure the pink has to be from my finger... just never seen it make photos hazy

Looks like a finger not paranormal

Re: Comments 13 years, 6 months ago #8

Could very well be from your finger. I have done it before. Depends on the angle of your finger to the flash and lens. Looks like a reflected glare.

thats what I was thinking.. it was pitch black in there, with exception to the IR lights and at the time my flash... I don't remember seeing anything remarkable... things like that you would think would grab your attention at the time of the photo

Yeah, it looks like the camera didn't adjust for the brightness correctly. If its a fully-auto camera then sometimes there's a mode in which the camera will initiate a pre-flash burst which it uses for adjusting levels. Sometimes that doesn't work too well.

In this shot you can see how much the bright flash hitting the hand in the foreground glares. This, I have a feeling is bouncing back into the lens and bouncing back and forth between the optics creating that halo effect. And its pink because of the coloration of the hand.

This is one reason I really prefer when people upload pictures into the Albums rather than directly to the forum. Because the photo album area keeps the images in their original form, and allows you to see the EXIF data. The EXIF data really would tell the whole story here.
