Folks, this photo is dedicated to my wife who found this area. There was a good energy here so we set up and took the shot.

Another awesome shot. I love the broken history in the foreground and the sparse memories in the background. Very nice!

Thanks CC, we were thinking of taking you and Mags to this place, have lunch, then head over to Parksdale for some strawberry short cake. Of course, you can tell I already had my shortcake in this shot; makes me more inspired.

I love this! I love the depth the background tree provides. It seems outlined. Almost to say the deeper in the woods you go, the more history will present itself...

Wow, a breathtaking shot! My heart started to pound as I took in the whole scene. It feels like somebody there definitely did not go peacefully. I am unfamiliar with the area, being a life-long New Englander and I have not had the time to research this locale-yet.

Thanks very much MW. This is a great little locale; almost seems like it's been forgotten, although it appears to have been kept up pretty well. We're going back as I wasn't feeling the IR bug that day and just shot in regular color and converted to B & W.

May I suggest having this photo incorporated into a charm for your wife as a Valentine gift!
