Well as far as an intuitive getting a reading from someone else, there is such a thing as being too close to the situation. I have a hard time reading myself and others in my family. Maybe I am reading them, just in a completely different way. Anyway, psychic or not, I wouldn't mind getting a reading done. There's always going to be another perspective that could help us add to the perspective we have of ourselves.
"Dead men have no need of pretense. What I seek is truth, light beyond light beyond Light. There are those who will tell you a different story. Who is to say which is right? But this I know: what I've seen with the naked eye has been fantasy, perhaps; but what I've known with the heart has been truth." ~Awakening Osiris

I have always been told that an intuitive can read almost anyone, except themselves or family. For some reason they are too close to allow for accurate reading. I guess it would be easier to read into or misinterpret what you are picking up on due to close knowledge of that person. You have to be able to detach on one level and it's more difficult when you yourself or family is involved.

I agree completely. I must say that when I break down and seek outside advice/a reading, I have found tons of total fakes over the last 45 years. It is difficult to sit there and listen to someone tell you a pack of outright lies and as a result, I usually take a "witness" along when I go for a reading. The most accurate reader I ever encountered actually offered to mentor me and did so for many years. May you find just such a trusted and accurate individual. Best of luck on your path.

A multi-colored orb, sunch as the one you describe is usually a moisture droplet refracting light as a prism would. Congratulations on a nice experience.

I'm new here - so I'm not sure if this is the right place, but saying that - there is a finite amount of space on a server no, or you have to pay more. I've been looking at pics, and time and time again people post pics of orbs.. most aren't paranormal.. it's frustrating and a waste of time, why do people still believe in them?

I think people still believe in orbs, because there is no other explanation for some things. I have seen some things that were pegged as orbs that were clearly dust particles or insects. However I HAVE seen seen video footage of what could only be described as orbs of light. Could there be a logical explanation for them? Possibly, but I am not sure what that would be. It's like the term UFO. Any object flying in the air can be a UFO if you don't know what it is.

Very true.. I've seen orbs that have moved in unnatural ways with intent..those I get.. but not the ones that show up willy nilly.. I used to get so excited - but para experts I know push off most as natural phenomena that gets caught..

I wish there was a disclaimer and a rule that you can't do a close up without the original...

thanks for the post!
Cheers!

It's possible that they are excited and caught up in the moment. Or just don't know what they are looking at. Hard to tell. I try to look at everything from a logical standpoint. Anything I can't put a definitive (sorry, coding background verbage there) explanation on, is unexplained. It's interesting to figure out though. One way or the other.
