Thats what i was meaning by enhance, not to alter but to make an EVP easier to listen to. Bad choice of word i guess, whoops

I ordered mine from Ghost St.Augustine in Fl and they had it to me in 4 days....they are always quick.

I noticed the category I placed this post was under enhancement evp. Enhance, for me, feels like more like turning up the volume. Making easier to hear.

Why would you want to pay $70+ for a spirit box, when you can make one from a cheap Radio Shack digital radio. Less than half the price, and to boot it has a SW1 and SW2 short wave frequencies as well. Works quite well. Or as well as the others do.

your exatly right rob but i can tell ya why most people will buy something like that when they watch shows like taps ghost adventures and see these guys using them and they get all these amazing results they just have to buy it lol thats why im saying these shows advertise for free so they get there s free but your so right you can go to radio shack much cheeper

YOu're right. But I don't think they advertise for free, I think they're paid well to do so, above and beyond just free gear.
